Maybe I came on a little strong, and if so I apologize. I was mostly trying to have a fun argument about ethical or unethical billionaires in fiction. I'd really appreciate it if we could not make things personal.

Mostly just hate the existence of billionaires as a whole, I guess.

The thirties? You mean the middle of the Great Depression? Brought on by rich people gambling via the stock market? Like, sure, he didn't start out a billionaire, but that doesn't make him seem any less villianous to me.

Okay? Then please explain it to me, because I'm not an economist.

I mean, look at the current economy. I wouldn't say it's doing great, but there sure are A LOT of billionaires.

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who thinks this

I'm pretty sure at least a few superheroes are billionaires that could wipe out the ecenomic hardships that made them billionaires.

Thank you! Predators are bullies; they're perfectly content with hurting people who can't fight back. But as soon as they're outnumbered or outgunned, they run away with their tail tucked behind their legs.

Your 'massive stigma' argument doesn't hold up when the person in question is *already* hurting someone. 🙃

Like, by all means, please keep yourself safe in a dangerous situation. But let's not kid ourselves here. Women are more likely to help because they *know* the danger on a personal level.

Right? And then they complain when it turns out that the superheroes they love really don't like fascists.

i'm aware of that- I was reading the comic strip wrong, and didn't realize it until i looked back at the post. lols. i thought green arrow was the one who said "if you want to break the law- go ahead, but count me out," and got so confused. 😂

Hell yeah! Congrats!

I don't know much about comic Green Arrow, but isn't he a vigilante??? (like at least in the show) How the fuck is he able to have the moral superiority in this instance? DOESN'T HE ALSO BREAKS THE LAW?!
