Wonderful models indeed - and you did them justice.

And not to forget the wonderful tree! Did you make it yourself?

Looks good! Reminds me I still want to have something similar for my Sharp Practice Dawns and Departures campaign plans...

No splendid uniforms like in Ridley Scott's Napoleon?

I guess I'll have to find out! I know I have gone back and forth about basing 6mm Napoleonics, before deciding I want to use big bases after all. I imagine something similar with more modern 6mm figures...

Those look even better in my mind. I might try to base my infantry on thin metal bases, even though that makes them harder to pick up. Tanks can then remain unbased without looking too small.

Ooh, cattle!

Will these photos appear in the next issue of a Wargames magazine? 😲

That does look fantastic. I have to admit that I have had GHQ tanks for years, but have never painted even one 😑 O-group was supposed to be the trigger to paint them, but my mate is doing that in 15mm...

But, but, basing tanks! 🥶

Except for another timely double six by Prussian artillery firing canister - faltering the enemy brigade.

Didn't help much in the end. The cavalry ended up where they started and the Prussian infantry and to attack their French counterparts on their own, courtesy of a mixed infantry and cavalry brigade... The Saxon column ended up even worse.

You can tell they're not a welcoming lot. Nicely done!

Thank you, it was awesome. After yesterday's collective jaw dropping of the local Historical Society, today was a great day to introduce wargaming to the wider public, including lots of kids.

Not the 3D printing service yet, but his buildings are very good wargame-friendly designs. The owner is a nice chap too.

A different style of photography is the issue. Magazines demand clear and crisp pictures, ideally from a SLR camera. These certainly do not benefit my painting style of 6mm. This photo was made in portrait mode with a phone camera, blurring near and far details on purpose.
