1. Don’t be afraid to annotate the text.

There isn’t a single book in my collection that isn’t highlighted in some way. It helps with comprehension and it also helps your future self recall the things you once read. There’s no harm if the book is yours and you intend to reference it in the future.

My first mentor taught me that my craft is personal, meaning it is *mine.* Folks are going to have opinions on things they know nothing about, so the best thing I can do is to keep moving forward and not spend the energy on the ignorance they seek to maintain nor the comments they speak.

I have a color-coded spreadsheet that I keep all my organic materials catalogued in!

For things that I have unique variants of like divination supplies and crystals, my grimoire is kept up-to-date with what I have and what I’ve given away!

Good luck even getting to my decks in the first place, that space is so heavily warded/guarded that I’d know before they could get a toe in.

Big fan, I’ve been doing it since I was a kid. It’s a great thing that pop culture/social media has warped into a “sell-your-soul” negative thing in recent times. I always feel sad when I have to tell folks that they’re not “bad at it” or that their gods aren’t angry with them over small mistakes😞

Shufflemancy! I could be minding my own business and suddenly a song plays that contains a message about a question I had or a future path I may find myself on. It always sneaks up on me in the most magical way possible✨
