Thought I would be here for lots of things. Nature. Adventure. Flowers. A few laughs. Community. A bit of politics. Instead, I’m trying to stay informed of the madness and still stay sane. Truth has to win! Never surrender to fascism. #resist
Photo break. Some low fog stuck in the port of Tacoma / Commencement Bay. Taken from Point Ruston.

These people are absolutely exhausting. How many times can they roll out this lie and have MAGA bite? Seriously - NO ONE HAS BEEN STOPPING PEOPLE FROM SAYING MERRY CHRISTMAS! All the fake MAGA/GOP Christians can say it whenever they want to.

Could not be happening to a more deserving guy!

Photo cleanse! Mt Rainier from our deck right now. Bluebird day here in Tacoma!

Point Ruston right now. Always a beautiful view of Mount Rainier! Gotta love the PNW!

Shout out to Tacoma people interested in keeping our democracy! Do you support Indivisible Tacoma? Our group works hard to keep our government working FOR the people. Can you support us? This is our plea after we supported the 5000 people at our No Kings rally!

Yup, still a false equivalency.

This is the red/blue map that everyone should spread. People, not land/acreage, vote.

I couldn’t resist taking a photo of this bumper sticker! “I wonder if beer thinks about me too”. Mine would be about wine, but this made me chuckle!

Tacoma hasn’t forgotten about the Epstein Files! #indivisbleTacoma rally at Stewart Heights Park yesterday.
October 19, 2025 at 5:32 PM
One of our signs today! I think we were more than 2500 people in Tacoma - Stewart Heights Park!

Just another example of a very small man in charge of our country, using the military to intimidate Americans. None of this is coincidence. This is happening the same day as our No Kings rallies. Trump and his henchmen truly hate Americans. From NYTimes.
October 18, 2025 at 2:57 PM
#Tacoma people - will you be joining us as we show up to protect our democracy? America has always been about freedom and never been about Kings. Let’s send a message to Trump - NO KINGS! Oct. 18, 1-3pm Stewart Park.

Sadly, the people of St Louis are seeing first hand what a large government scale back looks like. Big tornado damage? No FEMA. Screw the average Americans. That’s the GOP plan.
September 29, 2025 at 4:14 PM
Yes, can’t we spend money on things Americans actually need? #healthcare

This is perfect!
Trump is definitely treating the country like one of his businesses. Driving it into the ground.

We were there in early June - absolutely stunning!!

Couldn’t resist taking photos of the amazing reflections at the marina today. Hard to tell reality from reflections. Sort of like our politics - hard to know reality from the deflections. 😉

Why do “conservative commentators” say so many inane things? All meant to vilify the left.
No one is saying this, Matt Walsh!

Medicare and You! Every year we get this confusing info with what is and is not, may and may not be covered when we get sick or need medical help. Why have most countries already figured this out while we are told we need to pay insurance companies to make medical decision for us! #medicare

Teeters?! This is the word choice for what is happening?! NYTimes - I cancelled my subscription for more than a year because of your disappointing headlines and takes on Trump. I just, just came back. Don’t make me regret it already!
September 20, 2025 at 10:31 PM
Well, we never did believe Trump was actually concerned with fraud, did we? At least not when rich, white men committed it. Screw the people.
From NYTimes.

This is what Dems are fighting for in the short term budget process. Healthcare costs for millions of Americans. Per NYTimes.

Taking a break to regain my sanity. We are camping and biking and hiking on the Olympic Peninsula this week. Here are a few pics from our campground at Salt Creek. It’s absolutely stunning here!

Republicans proving once again that they will do just about anything to get elected but nothing to actually help the people. Let this be a reminder that IF Reps vote for something you like, check the details. Highly likely they have worked it out to be short term.
