My severe health problems (which mean I’m currently, as usual, in pain and bedbound) come from common viral illnesses I never recovered from. I was fine before that. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone but my worst enemies. Nothing's magically protecting you from becoming disabled. It can happen to anyone.
