I'll still play a bog-standard expac full of annoying, ultra fast, Master Rank monsters. But it's not ideal for me, it's bittersweet.

Wilds is a very fractured experience, I love the vision this game has and wish it could reach its fullest potential, I just don't think that will come till MH 7.

It feels very unlikely to me that a Wilds expac will be a repeat of Iceborne which had room to experiment with what was already a smash hit. I think it will be much more 'safe' and is likely to outright remove unique wilds features like the pack, weather, and simulation aspects.
