It would be impossible for a libertarian to do so since our whole ideology is taking away the ability for the government to do just that. You can't give tax dollars if there aren't any to give.

Don't give government that type of power and it wouldn't be needed. And the "Democracy is at stake" is the most overused sound bite for fearmongering. Democracy is just mob rule, btw.

Government Overreach is Government overreach. All levels of government need to be streamlined so that people like you can't force others with whom you disagree into your way of thinking. I prefer people to be free to act and speak as they wish, and I have courage to put my name on a ballot to do it.
