On waking up, it occurs to me that this would be really useful for planning campaigns for GMs, and also for worldbuilding for authors, although that's not what I was using it for in the dream.

The basic concept involved being able to place notes/links/files/drawings/etc on a canvas, organize them in groups, make links and arrows between them, and create hierarchically nested floating subwindows to group them together. There's more to it than that, but that's the basic idea.

While also appreciating the irony that someone who worked to make the world a more dangerous place got killed by someone apparently following his own advice, but also that we all now have to live in the more dangerous world that this has become as a result.

I just don't have the reflexes for this kind of precision platformer. I couldn't even get past the first boss in Hollow Knight, and from what I hear Silksong is even more difficult.
