like shading yellow tones with reds or bright pinks, so I can just kinda keep that in the back of my head and then the next time I'm drawing an object of a certain colour I can just be like "oh shit red would look sick here" ukno lol?

I think for me it is genuinely just memorising what colour combos I like a lot haha

So for example if you just study artists whose colours you enjoy and begin to notice specific combinations you enjoy a lot, eventually you can just sorta like pull that from memory? Like for example I rlly (1/2)

I'd say just start small if you're interested though!! It's definitely been very fun and rewarding to learn in spite of the difficulties so I can recommend it :]

Ooh interesting question! I'm not sure how many transferable skills there are really so it's definitely a big learning curve, altho I think art knowledge has come in handy for stuff like texturing and just coming up with nice shapes/poses
