My dad and his brother in World War two. They would be horrified at what we've come to in America.

The protest I attended. Much love along with angst, but also many expressions of irony, humor, and resolve!

I live in Adelita Grijalva's district and I can't call the office and ask her to help me because she hasn't been sworn in! Yet I pay taxes, don't I? If I could, I'd ask her to release the Epstein files, stop the tariff madness, protect the ACA, and 25th amendment the unhinged president!

every protester should get a black neck gaitor and pull it up when facing off ice and Nat'l guard forces. It might cause a brief confusion of those firing pepper balls and rubber bullets. I see it as a modified version of the V for Vendetta Guy Fawks masks.

Somebody just wondered aloud, "where are the rest of the Luigi Mangiones? We need an army of them." The list of MAGA criminals committing heinous crimes grows... SCOTUS is moving up the list.

The expansion of the universe is accelerating--zooming toward chaos with so much horrific political drama! It's hard to keep up while also trying to survive. The equal but opposite reaction will be something to see.

Big crowd at the Phoenix rally this morning! Signs are hilarious, angry, earnest, ironic... People are resolute and energized for the revolution.

My favorite sign at today's protest. There were so many clever ones there! General sentiment is a blend of fury, outrage, courage, energy, and resolve. And humor because...

These pop-up protests are gaining momentum and give me hope.

in my town we're heading to the Tesla dealership for another protest. Speaking out against the fascist trump regime is becoming my full-time job.

I'm too old to lead the charge. Where is our hero? I want to be part of the revolution, but no one is stepping up to lead.

prayers are not the answer, not the panacea, and not an acceptable substitution for ensuring capable subject matter experts are acting on behalf of WE THE PEOPLE. Science, not pseudoscience. Experts, not toadies.

Stop praying and start using your noggins to correct the horrible mess you and your faithful have gotten us into. False sanctimony is just one of the things I dislike about Johnson. What I do like is the crude way his name is used to refer to a special part of a man's anatomy.

This "post truth" era seems surreal to me. Trump re-elected? Public school teachers being asked to carry firearms? Active pretense about the perilous state of our environment? Attention spans the size of fleas? People actually suggesting that women should be disallowed from voting? WTF!

Those of us who go where the truth takes us need to stop being so "sensitive" to peoples' religious convictions. Organized religion is simply wrong. There have been literally no substantiated miracles and we'd be silly to take the word of a bunch of hysterical clerics against our own eyes.

In my fantasy parliamentary democracy, where coalitions can be formed and extreme groups can be ignored, I'd like to ostracize the Christianity factor completely.

Time for a parliamentary democracy in the US. There are so many competing factions that two big tents tend to ignore. For instance, SCIENCE holds a less prominent sphere of influence than it should, in light of FACTS and TRUTH.
