I've enjoyed making fantasy races, I haven't done that before and I think they've come out good

So you spend an average of $8-10k on every self published book? (taking into account editing and covers and shit). Where do you spend the advertising money?

I started a book for simply me, doing nothing towards marketable or trends or expecting to sell it ever. It's been refreshing
