Then the sleek and spry Yashica-mat 124G that I recently acquired from a delightful floof on the West Coast. Its photos are the equal in quality of the Mamiya, but in a smaller and lighter package.

I was honestly not impressed. It definitely has that old-school cinematic look in terms of contrast and color balance, but the film is so difficult to process in a home lab that artifacts are almost guaranteed.

After replacing the bellows and some light seals, and generally checking focus and shutter speeds, I now feel confident enough in this critter to put a roll of color film through it soon.
