Even if you are a space marine you will never be treated like a human, only as a weapon for the emperor. You still also run the risk of getting shot by a Lazer cannon from a fish, or a bullet from a gun made of sheet metal by a pissed off mushroom. In the 41st millennium there are no heros. (4/4)

On top of this, the fact that even if you are in the imperium as a citizen you are now at the mercy of your neighbor becoming a chaos cultist and you getting gunned down by the space Marines because they are worried about you being chaos corrupted too. (3/4)

When every other warhammer 40k race is also equally racist and xenophobic, sans maybe the Orks and Tyranids as Orks just wanna fight everyone and Tyranids have no real thought beyond "Consume, Reproduce, Survive"
I mean for Gorks sake the Eldar have a slur for humans called "Monkai" (2/4)
