I'm pretty sure none of them stopped using it. There's no "bringing back" your regular vocabulary 🙄

Grew up in Oregon but my family culture is Californian. Biscuits and gravy may have been originally southern (idk) but it's huge out west. I feel like every truck stop and cafe has it.

I see it as more of a desperate move to reduce time spent standing in line (due to understaffing). They made it so unpleasant that we welcome the opportunity to do volunteer labor!
