Would Billy Donovan admit if he knew the Bulls had turned Giannis away? Probably not ...

But I still tend to believe what the head coach is saying.

If the Bulls can hang their hat on anything, it's that Josh Giddey continues to look like a worthy building block on a very palatable contract.

Especially with the recent struggles, it felt like minutes could be opening up soon for the rookie.

Worth noting: Bulls' bench was averaging 48.9 PTS per game through first 14 games. That was the most in the NBA.

Since then, the bench has averaged 37.0 PTS, which ranks 14th in the NBA.

Injuries have really hurt them. Depth was essential to their early success.
December 3, 2025 at 6:18 PM
Last time the Bulls played a team averaging the fewest points in the NBA, they allowed 143.

Tonight needs to be different. Josh Giddey and Ayo Dosunmu both have to take control in this one. Nets have 2nd-lowest PACE and allow 17 fastbreak pts a night.

Bulls got some good news.

Zach Collins and Dalen Terry are ramping up. Both will help defensively. Collins, in particular, could be a breath of fresh air.

Nobody has given up more PITP than the Bulls. Collins' physcality could be a breath of fresh air.

A needed bounce back performance from Matas Buzelis last night. Finished with 21 PTS, 6 REB, 4 AST, 3 BLK

Had two fantastic plays with the ball in his hands. He is shockingly comfortable going behind the back. Overall, big difference from last year working off the dribble.

The chatter around the Bulls and Anthony Davis has only grown louder.

I doubt it's something the Bulls bite on, but the fact they have reportedly had internal talks about it is ... something.

The Chicago Bulls have played the 3rd-most clutch games in the NBA. They are 7-7 after loss to Magic (started the year 7-4 btw).

Their Clutch net rating has dropped to -15.4, which is 6th-worst in the NBA.

Keeping it competitive isn’t the problem. Finishing is.

Hey, at least the Chicago Bulls don't have to walk out of the arena with a brown paper bag over their head.

The defense comes up short again despite four Bulls scoring 20+ points.

One major concern for the Bulls against the Pelicans ...

Chicago's D gives up 55.4 points in the paint per game (28th). Can you guess which team is tied with the Bulls for the highest % of shots at the rim (per Cleaning the Glass? New Orleans.

Physicality needs to be there.
November 24, 2025 at 5:53 PM
Something encouraging: Josh Giddey is taking 41% of his FGAs at the rim (career-high). Floaters will always be part of his game, but using his size more to get inside was a key part of his 2nd half surge last year.

It's also a big reason he's averaging 7.0 FTAs so far this year!

Playing the Ghosts of Bulls Past ...

Matas Buzelis is 3-4 from the field with 7 PTS in less than 4mins.

A reminder ahead of tonight's Bulls-Hawks game ...

Ayo Dosunmu is 9-2 against Trae Young over his career. He has held him to 43% shooting. Meanwhile, Dosunmu has shot 50.2% against the Hawks, including 15-20 in his last two games.

He LOVES playing Atlanta lol
October 27, 2025 at 4:38 PM
The Chicago Bulls went 26-32 from the free-throw line last night.

They made 26 FTs in only three games total last season.

Buzelis was 7-7. Giddey was 8-11. Very encouraged to see from the jump.
October 23, 2025 at 5:06 PM
Bulls (shockingly) up 64-49 on Pistons at halftime.

What really stands out ...

• 11-0 advantage in 2nd chance points
• 13-14 from the FT line
• 17 ASTs on 22 FGM

The physcality they've talked about is showing up in REB and FT departments. Off-ball movement is also awesome.

This feels like it happens every season ...

The Bulls always downplay an injury only to slap on multiple weeks of recovery at the final hour. It's just so befuddling.

Why even still set opening night as an expectation when you rule out White for the entire preseason?

It’s just not normal for a six-foot-ten dude to be able to do all of this — let alone at 21 years old.

Matas Buzelis’ versatility has jumped off the screen more and more in this preseason. The Bulls have a real building block here.
October 13, 2025 at 9:08 PM
Noa Essengue’s length and open floor speed is immediately a big advantage.

He has the potential to be incredibly disruptive on D. You also have to respect his feel for drawing contact.

Has gotten to the line twice in each preseason game. And he’s averaging only 14mins played!
October 13, 2025 at 9:06 PM
Noa Essengue had a pretty solid debut for the Bulls last night.

Played fewer than 14 MINs but made his presence felt. You can tell his mobility will catch opposing frontcourts off guard. Did a nice job attacking the rim and drawing contact, too.
