Extremists often same whose brothers, cousins, etc in public office from PD to state legislature. Nor'easters often seem eager to carry out some punishment fantasy on Southerners for the South being The Way It Is while missing same guys want to do same syscap everywhere & South is the pilot program

As a Southerner who hasn't lived in the South for over 10yrs - what's v wild to me about this is how people outside the South also don't seem to grasp systems capture is still active in Southern states. Culture, yeah, ofc. But syscap and then cultural reaction to syscap - wildly undersold

I’m not Kelly but I’ve seen lightbulb moments when land acknowledgments lead to education about Native land tax and Native land trusts - people seem excited to give back. Collecting/directing donations or set up recurring (like a tithe) has been a change point for communities I’ve worked w in CA.
