Even for experienced folks coming of grad school, a lot of US employers don’t care about your exp abroad. I came here with 6 years of exp and having done World Champs and gotten one masters already - my first job post US masters was a minimum wage job at ICC organization committee
Q: Why do H1-B people need entry level jobs anyway? I thought these were supposed to be the best and brightest? Shouldn't they all be advanced level?

Even for experienced folks coming of grad school, a lot of US employers don’t care about your exp abroad. I came here with 6 years of exp and having done World Champs and gotten one masters already - my first job post US masters was a minimum wage job at ICC organization committee
It is only Jan 3 and a stakeholder is already trying to pitch me on shifting only a tiny little portion of our billing to a stripe competitor that doesn’t even have a stitch or a fivetran connector.
Nuh uh, the roadmap has been printed and laminated and sent to the board with a carrier pigeon 😭😭😭
