Need to learn to do this with something. I always end up trying to optimize everything to perfection instead of just enjoying it. And the optimizing can be fun sometimes, but it gets exhausting doing it all the time.

I should do my injection

Putting stuff up on your own website is so fun. Making and having a website in general is great. I most put my own silly thoughts up on mine. Should get back to mine, wanted to build some automation tools for it.

Another thought I had, maybe closet pastors do preach more against the homosexuals because it's on their mind, and at least some of them feel guilty about the incongruence. Also brings up the question of how many pastors are sincere.

You'd probably also find some interesting things if you look into the cases of homophobic pastors being outed for having sex with men. Maybe the reaction of the congregation depends on how masculine the sex acts in question were. Just wondering out loud though.

Like, it was weird to me that men can get away with sexual abuse in most churches, because it feels like they'd at least crack down on it for it being adultery. But understanding rape culture and patriarchy made it understandable. They give these men a slap on the wrist because of patriarchy.

I think the one area where repression is a thing is if you're in homophobic Christian communities. And even then the more general logic of patriarchy mostly live alongside the fundamentalism, only occasionally conflicting. I also think the patriarchal logics usually win these conflicts.

Also the claim in the ad is just false, beyond all the pitfalls that exist with attempts to measure intelligence, we can't directly measure the impact of genetics here and there's so many other things affecting the final outcome that it can't be taken as a good proxy.

I mean, the people arguing this in the context of educational accomodations probably aren't aware of universal design for learning. Most of these accommodations are such that we can just give them to everyone.

The core pedagogical idea behind this is being the sandbox from the ttrpg idea of railroad versus sandbox

Part of the trouble is depicting cops as basically any level of competent and interested in helping is already unrealistic.

I feel like I almost get what you're saying with this but also don't at all

I don't know what the ethics of that kind of work would be though, because you'd have decent chances of making minds that it is unpleasant to be before you got it all figured out. Also we'd probably end up enslaving it soooo
