Yes, yes, yes! The number of people who said to me “well at least you’re probably losing weight!” was so messed up. Going from eating mostly whole foods and low sugar to eating only smores poptarts meant I gained A LOT of weight! (While also being less and less able to exercise 🎉)

During the worst of my long COVID parosmia, for a month all I could eat was dry Rice Chex and smores pop tarts! This thread was so familiar to me in the worst way. My issues (mostly) resolved after 2.5 YEARS of living hell. Wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy & hope you eventually find some relief!
