Just picked this up and read it. I like where it's going, and love the fact that we'll have more MK in February 2026. Really one of my favourite superheroes now.

Cool transition to a big reveal. The magic vision bit was great (even though Scarlet Scarab's text was a bit hard to read being white letters on yellow background). Overall very fun, and Carbone's art has been a great continuation to Cappuccio's Midnight Mission. Looking forward to the run finale.

As a writer and editor I know it requires humility to be thoroughly edited, and accepting that not everything you blurt out onto the paper (or the screen) is a work of genius. There is no essential purity in art. XIXth century romanticism is long gone, and that's a good thing.

I watched it with my partner during a nighttime screening of weird japanese movies, along with 'Belladonna of Sadness', 'Audition' and 'Battle Royale'. Loved how this one felt like an old commercial at certain moments.
