It’s always heartbreaking to think about all of the rail that we ripped up or paved over across the country.

And I have no idea what the transit access is like there. If it sucks, they should make it better.

Here’s an idea: make the stadium accessible by bike and have secure bike parking.

I think that overall, the solution with breaking the six into the E line and the 36 is a very good move. But they should have done more work on examining the human impact of their decision making. These two routes could be a huge improvement for that area, but they are fumbling the execution badly.

I feel like I could write a long essay or a very short book about the people that I know specifically they are fucking over with these unnecessary route changes. And I feel like there are other drivers who could do similar things with passengers I’ve never met.

I was literally talking with a passenger yesterday about it (I’m driving the 6 until it becomes the E) And, there’s quite a few people that they are stranding near the corner of France and 39th. It would be trivially easy to route the new 36 to cover that. But they don’t think about the human impact

I do feel that they might scoff at my ridiculous taste because their work looks much more classy than what I have in mind. XD

I’m a believer in the potential for this technology to make the cars that are unfortunately needed on the road (and only the ones that are needed) safer. But we super aren’t there yet and from the looks of things we are still a long ways off before the tech is ready to be let loose on its own.
