Don’t let anyone change the reality of who Fuentes is. Now that he is more mainstream, there will be an almost involuntary reaction on the part of many to see him as legitimate.
He’ll use that to great effect, as he already did with Carlson.
But never forget: this is who Fuentes actually is.

The leaders of one of the biggest Hasidic communities in NYC going out of their way not to endorse Cuomo and also explicitly saying they don't think Mamdani is antisemitic.
Big deal, to say the least. And speaks more to their pragmatism than anything necessarily ideological.

I dunno, I think it would be helpful if journalists translated what “rural” means in this context. Somehow I don’t think Korean people automatically make something less rural simply by existing somewhere.
Unless rural means something else.

I really cannot help but marvel at how, for a certain class, all behavior by a politician must be framed as a horse race, as opposed to genuine opposition.

Actually I'll take it a step further and say he is threatening the ADL with an investigation if they don't change themselves inside and out in the same way he and Trump have been working on with the federal government.

Very clear implication here that Musk wants the ADL investigated by the FBI as a hate group. Considering who's in charge there, he may get his wish.

The ADL thought it could fall in line with Musk and it would stop his attacks on them. Instead, it just made them complicit, legitimized Musk, and ultimately didn’t actually change him at all.
This is how fascists work. Greenblatt tried being transactional: for fascists, it only goes one way.

They changed it to the Department of War specifically because they were about to declare war on American cities.
It is blindingly obvious from his own words and actions.

Ezra Klein explains why he is against the “oppositional” approach of Dems. One example he gives is blatantly false: immigration.
But more important: Klein shows how folks like him almost always casually throw vulnerable people under the bus in the name of “practicality.”

Head of the DNC is convinced that the only issue they’re facing is their messaging.
Incredible stuff. We will only get to where we need to going when people learn to let these people go as holding any legitimacy. We need a revolution, and that includes from within.

They won’t include these in terror or extremist numbers, but the point is that extremists control this system, and our government is a terror group.
Connect that to the history of incarceration in our country, and it helps clarify how acceptance of state violence led us here.

It seems that there are very obvious reasons for this, the main one being that these terrorists are now being hired by ICE and are able to terrorize as part of the state.
The fact that the writer can’t even fathom this is a good example of how state violence is simply accepted as fact.

For the record, half of how Nick Fuentes gets spread around is that he works tirelessly to embody the “Worst person you know just made a great point” meme.
All he needs is for enough people to spread it around and enough people not to know who he is for it to succeed. And it’s going quite well.
