Also P.S: If you don't want to get the PCB built, you could probably do some of this on a perfboard, except for two pieces which you would have to solder into place with wires, suspended in air. Might take some effort if it's your first time trying.

Hey there, I don't know if you would like to give it a try but it seems that the DiskBuddy64 is Open Source Hardware! You could try building one yourself, by hand - there doesn't seem to be a lot of components.

Here is a link to the distro:

Seeing anything mentioning Hollow Knight has recently become a trigger for me.

Instant follow, though.

Mine started acting out, brought it to service and they couldn't solve the issues. Turns out the HDD was dead, and we only noticed this after getting a new laptop :(

Hey there, if you like Sci-Fi, I would strongly recommend the book "Project Hail Mary" by Andy Weir.

I suppose my definition is a bit outdated, then :(

Thanks a lot for the tips! I think I actually do have some of the necessary equipment, like the vaccuum chamber. I'm also guessing I could use 3D resin printed dice to make some molds out of, since it's really hard to import things into my country nowadays :(

True, like most hobbies... Still, would you have any tips for someone wanting to give dice making a try?

The display in that second pic looks so cool! Do you know what interface it uses?

Yes, the Агат computers also used the 6502 microprocessor, the same as Apple II. There were also some slight changes, but been a long time since I last read about it.

So true - I haven't seen any of the toxicity from the other site over here. I hope it stays that way for as long as possible.

To be honest I'm kinda glad it's that way. Doing the work ourselves sometimes allows for a much deeper appreciation of the process of creation.

Just a massive, self-adjusting system of linear equations, no?

The colours are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! I really want to learn how to make dice like this, especially since even the simplest, mass manufactured ones here cost a leg and an arm here :(

Hey, saw one back in July this year! Didn't get to play around with it though, sadly :(

Ooh, makes it all the more exciting for me. Thanks!

Hey there. I loved Papers, Please, would you recommend Obra Dinn? Its art style really caught my attention but I never gave it a try, for some reason.

Also Disco Elysium and Sekiro were SO good, still didn't finish Disco, though.
