If you know anyone with some gcc expertise, there are some open issues to get more toolchains bootstrapped, eg:

In #9, I built gcc 4.2.1, which is the last GCC that musl-cross-make supports that only requires a C compiler to build. I should be able to use that compiler to build a more recent GCC.

Google Photos is the main one I feel tied down to at this point. I was just looking for any tips on problems to look out for when setting up and if there is anything to ease the transition of data transfer from stock android to graphene.
