No no no no no — similar to expertise on farm animal sounds and awareness of the dangers of quicksand, trapezoids were absolutely going to be key to my life. Somehow that has not been the case for any of those items. I’m not sure where I went wrong?

@cafedujord.bsky.social, I’m curious — in your threads about similar meetings I don’t recall seeing public comments from folks who themselves desperately need affordable housing. I hope it sways the council! Any idea what led so many people in that state to comment at this particular meeting?

Also, it’s not nearly as impressive as it sounds. The previous state rep. was a Democrat too. So this is a hold for the Democrats, not a flip. Seems like it’s one of those (increasingly rare) Southern districts that votes for Democrats for local offices and Republicans for federal races.
