EIS members at Craigclowan school are on strike today to protect their pensions.

Our members will oppose any attempts by the school to cut costs at the expense of staff terms and conditions.

Following years of little tangible progress on the Scottish Government's commitment to reduce teachers' weekly class contact time to 21 hours, the EIS will open a statutory ballot on 12th November.
