I work in a second hand bookshop. I tell people that we think we have 200,000 books - but that's only a tiny fraction of what's out there, so the chances of them finding that one book they're looking for are pretty slim, actually.
(though sometimes I can lead them straight to it!)

I did my Jedi librarian with a £4.99 kid's lightsaber. Obviously not a weapon under the Con weapons policy, and worked for the look of the costume.
