HANNIBAL Thomas Harris (1999) I first watched the TV show in winter 2018 and read the book afterwards. So Hannibal Lecter is weirdly Christmassey for me. It adds a whole new spin to the concept of Christmas dinner - yikes!

Andrew McInnes MOG'S CHRISTMAS by Judith Kerr (1976) Ah, a classic tale of alienation (Mog the cat is bored in the lead up to Christmas because everyone is busy), horror (she is scared by the tree and weird guests), and mistaken identity (the cat tumbles down the chimney and is mistaken for Father Christmas).
