A mildly unimpressive person.
Yeah, they say “you don’t care about Sudan so why do you care about Israel” but what they mean is “I don’t care about Sudan, so why are you trying to make me care about Israel”

Trump is 6’3, and you’d be surprised what some people find attractive.

Maybe? I think a lot of voters just vote for the tallest, handsomest, most charismatic man, which unfortunately, Newsome has a decent chance of being.

The trans people are already under the bus in this hypothetical world.
November 20, 2025 at 1:34 PM
I’m not voting for Newsome in the primary?
November 20, 2025 at 1:33 PM
I mean in the hypothetical world in which it is Newsome vs Vance in the general, yes it seems like not voting for Newsome slightly increases the chance Vance gets elected, no?
November 20, 2025 at 1:27 PM
Like, by all means, don’t vote for Newsome if that is unconscionable.

I just think it is more valid as a moral stance than a strategic one.
November 20, 2025 at 1:24 PM
No, because the hypothetical Newsome voter I am describing isn’t fucking over trans people as part of some concocted online mass-strategy. They are just voting in the same way they have their entire lives. I agree they should vote differently, but I don’t think they will be swayed by threats.
November 20, 2025 at 1:23 PM
I just think people generally don’t respond well to hostage taking in politics, and will be more inclined to just shrug and say “ehh we will probably win without you, so fuck off” than to bend the knee. So all this kind of tactic achieves is somewhat increasing the odds we get a president Vance.
November 20, 2025 at 12:57 PM
I guess I’m just skeptical that this sort of electoral gambit works.

I’m struggling to imagine the sort of person who wants to vote for Newsome in the primary, but decides to vote against him because they heard a bunch of leftists said they wouldn’t support him in the general.

Only 100 more years of China building up its power level by behaving like a large, amoral, self-interested, capitalist state, before they take off the mask and reveal themselves to be the guardians of the global meek and oppressed that we all know them to be!

Stocks are up, naturally.

The MC/narrator is great. Just an extremely weird and terrible guy, but also occasionally relatable and endearing.

They should give it to Candace Owens, just to spite him.

Apparently we’ve got to do a better job protecting our old, gross, male politicians from the unceasing predations of attractive young women.

You see, grabbing innocent families during Christmas prayer and imprisoning them in awful conditions before expelling them from the country is actually totally in keeping with Christ’s teachings. Only *true* Christian nationalists understand this.

The way that you don’t really see the mother or son interacting with other humans, the creepy “you can talk to me anytime”, the flashback which reveals the grandmother to be so much more vibrant than the flattened AI simulacra…

This would be an incredible work of subtle horror if it was fake.

Tracy’s criticisms are often vaguely directionally correct, but his attention-seeking contrarianism inevitably leads to him going way too far and making an ass of himself (and undercutting any correct observation he may have made)

To be fair, I think blocking people you politically align with, but who consistently have takes you disagree with probably does help reduce infighting.

I’ve also had bad experiences with display screens (and I think I’ve seen a study which said they caused accidents), but backup cameras and auto detection breaking are really nice safety features that only became super widespread in the past decade or so.
