Clearly a comparison between "now" and "April" is fitting

Comment from an anonymous user: We have been longtime albeit irregular customers of Canlis. Unfortunately, we have witnessed what we consider to be a steady decline overall in the fine dining experience. It seems that the further Canlis moved away from its “roots”, the more confusing and disappointing our visits have become. Consider our most recent (and last) birthday celebration there. We were a group of seven, five of whom ordered what we thought was a poultry dish: “Hen of the Woods”. For those who don’t know, like us, this is a mushroom and a brief clarification from the server would have assuaged our disappointment. The total bill, with adult beverages and tip, was over $2,000 for a minimally enjoyable event. We wish Canlis the best and sincerely hope that some day, we will again be able to experience the kind of fine dining upon which their reputation was built.

Kinda wild that I started 80% of this from seed

These are doing SO WELL, ripening over a week. I haven't had saskatoons in a decade (since they're not available commercially in the states) and being able to grow them myself takes me back to my prairie childhood in a u-pick with bucket. They're perfect

We did it!!! We raised $2838 for @openmedf.bsky.social and @meactnet.bsky.social (and I also threw in $500 for @solveme.bsky.social), bringing us to a grand total raised of $9514 for ME advocacy and research after my employer match! Thanks so much to everyone who participated 💙
