I'm not always ready to listen.
I may not be talking on phone,
I may not be writing or messaging,
I might look as though I'm ready..

But

I could be day-dreaming
I could be trying to recapture a word or memory
I might be savouring the silence

If I try to listen but fail, it's not personal.

Really recommend this episode to understand how utterly dumb the current American energy policy is, but how positive the forecast is for solar specifically.
Today on Volts: the subset of cleantech known as "electrotech" -- solar, batteries, heat pumps, etc. -- is marching toward inevitable victory, not because it's low-emissions (though it is), but because it's more efficient & cheaper. I discuss the good news with @kingsmillbond.bsky.social.
Clean electrification is inevitable
Kingsmill Bond explains why the global march of "electrotech" has moved beyond the reach of US political interference.

Editorial: Another “secret cache” of documents related to the rape of Brittany Higgins and its subsequent legal proceedings was shared with The Australian last week. Linda Reynolds was quoted in a snatch of stories, all critical of Higgins and the government. satpa.pe/bjcjudp
On Linda Reynolds and Janet Albrechtsen
A little over a week ago, Linda Reynolds gave her first interview since winning her defamation case against Brittany Higgins. She gave it to Janet Albrechtsen, the right-wing columnist whose texts and phone calls infected the Sofronoff inquiry and to whom Reynolds had earlier leaked confidential details of Higgins’s Commonwealth settlement.

So disappointed to find that the guardian's important series #BrokenTrust has had barely any traction here on #BlueSky .

No place anywhere for these #racist #violent #cowards.

Yep, cowards.

Anyone who can't cope in a world where their ideas aren't the majority, and use threats to make them feel better, and spread fear ..... are cowards.
