They're also cartoon characters. Look at them. Those aren't real people, they are caricatures. They do horrible things, look to see if we noticed HOW horrible, giggle, and do worse things. They all wear horrendous clown makeup, and they all look cast in plastic. It's like Chuckie in 100 versions.
