Why don’t states band together and negotiate with the insurance companies directly to come up with affordable plans? But then again, the downfall here would be that red states would end up with shi**y plans bc their representatives don’t care about their constituents.

Congressional healthcare is provided by us, the American people, since you all work for us. How about any member of Congress who votes for no extension, is required to get a 50%-100% increase in their premiums? You know…fair is fair.

The new requirement should be that whatever health plan Congress wants Americans to accept, then they must give up their current healthcare and participate in the “new” plan they want to push on Americans.
