This is such a niche complaint about something that really isn’t a problem, but how can Barnes and Noble not manage to deliver pre-orders on release days? There is no reason a book I ordered in January that was released yesterday isn’t arriving at my house until Saturday.

I’m about 70% into Sunrise over the Reaping by Suzanne Collins, and I am have a hard time making myself keep going because I know it’s going to hurt. Hurt Haymitch more than it hurts me though, if we’re being honest.

Okay, I’m happy to have switched to Barnes and Noble and yes, I have a million books to read, but what is the point of pre-ordering books if there isn’t release day delivery? Am I the only one that has this gripe?

I never want a book to be made into a movie, but I want this book to be made into a limited mini-series with a high production budget stat.

Earlier today, I was walking home with my dog from her daycare. I smiled at my podcast and a man on the sidewalk thought I was smiling at him and started to say hi, and I was like “no not you.”
