If she is what I say she is? I said she's probably full of shit and this about face is being done for selfish reasons. My only point is that fake civility and decency from political leaders is at least slightly better than outright hostility and hatred.

You're probably right, but if she follows through and is a better human then it's still a positive for politics. Leaders faking civility is a (admittedly small) step up from what has been happening.

Come on Dave, those pundits weren't referring to silly and meaningless threats to free speech like shutting down news outlets. They were referring to the serious stuff like being able to make fun of trans kids without retribution.

It happens. I once thought Yoan Moncada was going to have a better career than Ronald Acuna, and Dustin McGowan was going to be a multiple Cy Young winner. I even grew out mutton chops in support of Dusty.
