So, updates. Due to a couple of logistical issues, the release date for book two has changed to July 25th.

Taking another stab at #poetry
There was a time when silence was a wound a hollow space filled with teeth, gnawing through the hours. It spoke in broken clocks, in ghosts of what I didn’t say, in the rustle of regrets that never quite sat still. Now, silence arrives like an old friend who doesn’t need to knock. It pours a cup. It sits beside me. It listens. Not all the noise is gone. But it waits its turn. Some days I still brace for the avalanche… but it doesn’t come. Just the hush. Just the breath. Just the room I never thought I’d feel safe inside again.

A text exchange between me and my cover artist. I say "Hey. I've had a credible person point out some stuff in my covers. I'm going to ask you point blank: did you use AI for this?" Their response, "So, Yeah. I did. To save time and get you the stuff before I shipped out. It's the reason it cost you so little. Thought you knew." I say, "No. At no point was ai mentioned" And their final message says, "Is it a problem?"

I fell this morning going down the little steps inside. Wibble (cerebellar hypoplasia) went from perfectly fine where she was to teleporting horizontally under my foot.

She was as confused as I was.

I managed to miss her, but I went down hard. Nothing broken, but so sore.
