No buzzing. They can create multiple custom programs, which the user gets to control and switch between using a remote control. Programs can be constructed to feel the vibrations, or not. Mine is by Boston Scientific, though there are other manufacturers.

Have you had a consult at a major academic medical center? Sometimes they even do it remotely, come up with fresh approaches. If you like, I’ll help you research the most promising place. (I know it all gets overwhelming, especially when in bad pain.) DM if interested.

Logic tells me that I should condemn this murder and root for just consequences for the killer. It’s my overriding belief in justice that makes me happy as hell and a bit more hopeful for positive reforms to our healthcare system.

I’m so curious to know how the history of these times will be written. What events post WWII will turn out to have been the most determinative?

I was born a couple of years before the polio vaccine became available in the US. I remember how excited my parents and grandparents were. I know how much its universal embrace meant to my generation. Subsequently, I take every vaccine I can get, including eight COVID shots.
