We "cut the cord" back in 2003 and have hardly ever seen a commercial since (local Linux ISO streaming).

This is the first time I've heard of this commercial... 😄 (down in the comments)

Still not worth the $1500 annual fee y'all pay though.

Awesome alt text!

Hey @bsky.app, your web app is still broken. It won't let me scroll in Brave browser on Android when it's this long.

Verifying ensures the security and data integrity of the downloaded file (not corrupted). It's optional, but highly recommended.

On Windows, you can open a PowerShell prompt and run:

Get-FileHash path\to\file.zip

The wording in the Epstein Files Transparency Act says only "Unclassified" records.

Who can mark a document classified? "The president, vice president, agency heads, and others designated by executive order or agency leadership."

Remember, the purge started in 2019 when he was arrested.

"Micro-firings", where a company terminating < 50 FTEs does not have to report the layoffs, is now > 50% of all layoffs.

...and now hidden by the BLS and excluded from "job reports."

It shows how insidious it is to target well established norms.

So multiple any "numbers" you hear x2.

Technically, we live in anarchy everyday.

- No one tells you who to marry.
- No one tells you which car to buy.
- No one tells you where you can live.

Surveillance states have falsy cast the definition of "Anarchy" to mean chaos.

It's not! Anarchism can also involve resisting authority.

Many have disclosed such violence to me over my life and I can't help feel a sick in the stomach from every story.

Queuing up a retro TV show in the lineup for the rest of the year. Haven't seen this series in a while...

I'm just blown away... This is why I run TrueNAS: the wizards, automations, workflows, backup and replication wizards, and visual UX.

If I was to task you to add 4 new disks to a ZFS pool, while straight forward with many CLI commands, you can't beat a couple clicks in a wizard.

Ever paid attention to #LinksWithFriends' intro?

Finally completely binge watching the #JurassicPark and #JurassicWorld movies. Once to get a feel of the gory parts, and a second time with the little kiddo skipping those gory parts.

We're going through the animated TV series now.

Remember, remember the 5th of November,
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.

All up alive.

The concept of "block programming" has been around since the 1970s. The rise of OOP kind of put a back seat to these simple "single input, single output" modular concepts.

Once the "Ah Hah!" moment clicks, you'll fit right in with ASIC, Blender, and even FPGA programming.

That's about 4,000,000 Linux gamers a month.

- We're proud to be 3 of that number.
- Converted 2 more extended family.
- Converted 3 local parents' kids.
- And 1 local professor (she likes Luanti)

Yep, I elaborated in my additional replies above. ;)

Basically, I believe a 100% monitoring + blocklist approach is the most effective, regardless of the platform.

I'm been training a local LLM to process the screenshots. Mostly OCR for reporting, no actions yet.

I haven't heard nor thought of #USANetworks since like the Airwolf, Knight Rider, A-Team days in the 80s. But season 4 of #ResidentAlien is just damn good writing.

The previous seasons on SyFy were were great; however, you can tell season 4 kicks it up to something special with its comic timing.
