They/we have had the benefit of living in a slightly less fascist and more social-democratic version of capitalism, but then that makes it even more embarrassing that many still support trump, or Israel, for example..

That generalisation is far too kind. Being Norwegian myself and having lived there, I can confirm that plenty of Norwegians get caught up in the global news cycle.

I'm definitely enjoying it so far. It's creepy at times, and a bit disturbing, but in my opinion not excessively.. I wouldn't mind if it was a bit darker, personally, but I'm impressed with the cinematography, acting, dialogue etc.

Yeah there's a few rope bridges on the Pacific highway, and there's a proper nature bridge over the new(ish) tunnels near Byron Bay and the older tunnels near Murwillumbah / Tweed, both also on Pacific highway

Some say that Brazil, 12 Monkeys and The Zero Theorem form a sort of loose trilogy. I watched them all consecutively over the course of a couple days and I can definitely recommend it!

My pleasure! And yes, i was referring to the Gilliam movie. Have you seen The Zero Theorem? Another one of his great mind-benders, much newer though, from 2013.
