Postmodern Jukebox covered "Blurred Lines" with a woman singer, and suddenly the singer is urging the object of desire to reject the heteronormative ideal, not conform to it. I'm glad because the tune is SO catchy and I want to bop along with it.

Actually according to Wikipedia, the term "duck tape" is actually older. There's a fabric called cotton duck that can be cut into strips for securing things. Duct/k tape isn't made with duck fabric, but the name got applied to it anyway.
