I'm a Byliner. No clearly identified human author/artist, no sale, no read, no view, no click. Pretty sure my meager follower count is inflated by bots and scammers. I do not maintain my posting history.
The #NFL milking a deceased broadcaster over and over again has reached well into distasteful territory, and is inching up on being ghoulish. He had a 30 year broadcasting career. It ended almost 17 years ago. Stop monetizing the guy, for the love of basic decency.

They're corrupt. They do not care about any sense of duty, and they no longer hold to any professional ethics - to an individual, top to bottom, throughout the organization. That's why. Were that not true, staff would be publicly vocal about this and many other violations. You know this, I'm sure.

And there is no such thing as effectively red teaming an LLM. From someone who knows what she's talking about, @disesdi.bsky.social:

Yes. Honestly, it is so bad as to be somewhere between amateurish and suspect. This weird notion that just because billionaires created a hype cycle, nothing can be done about it is false, complicit, and more than anything else, *extremely* lazy. Interrogating claims is supposed to be the job.
November 26, 2025 at 9:43 PM
MIT says "fuck it," decides to light its reputation on fire to promote the LLM industry, and publishes a giant steaming pile of hyena dung. Anyone who has extensive knowledge of LLMs knows they can't replace most jobs even remotely *well*.

Generous of you to refer to it as an 'industry.' Looking forward to seeing the movie.

Because Sam Altman is a scumbag scam artist.
November 26, 2025 at 1:16 AM
Why don't you ask him how many people will be part of his WorldCoin scam by 2030 while you're at it?
November 26, 2025 at 1:14 AM
And you're not interrogating this claim - one they clearly pulled straight out of their asses- at all? Scammy companies "project" things all the time. It's not news unless there's something behind it other than their imaginations.

I keep seeing people in comedy say that Rogan is or was a decent guy and a funny guy, but he hasn't acted like either on his own show. Those people in comedy seem to be completely blind to that reality. It's a weird business.

I look forward to hiring a Chief AI Officer whose job will be to just tell anyone who suggests using AI for anything to shut the fuck up.

Pardon me for the autocorrect typo: toolbag

And here's the big conclusion, the key point: #CPM, @wbez.org, and @chicago.suntimes.com don't *care* that it's suspicious. That's the only possible explanation for their silence. Consider that factual reality very, very carefully.
November 23, 2025 at 10:37 PM
And if you do have CBA and other considerations that limit you, you say so up front, and you still lay out a timeline and invite people to hold you accountable. #ChicagoPublicMedia is doing none of that. It's suspicious, and they have every reason to know it is suspicious.
November 23, 2025 at 10:36 PM
It is extremely reasonable to doubt that they are engaging top 'AI' critics like @timnitgebru.bsky.social, @emilymbender.bsky.social, @alexhanna.bsky.social and journalists like @karenhao.bsky.social as part of their policy creation process. You do the right thing out in the open.
November 23, 2025 at 10:36 PM
It is extremely reasonable to suspect that they may be giving no thought whatsoever to the ecological devastation and gothic labor abuses upon which *every single* major LLM implementation has been built.
November 23, 2025 at 10:36 PM
If #CPM - @wbez.org and @chicago.suntimes.com respected people, if they valued listener and reader trust, they would be forthright and transparent about this. Instead, they've gone silent. It is extremely reasonable to suspect they want to push more 'AI' slop than their community will accept.
November 23, 2025 at 10:36 PM
Nearly six months after they claimed to have *previously* introduced their draft policy, they still have published no timeline for its circulation to the community for comment and modification. If this looks suspicious to you, I think it should.

I"m not even sure what it is that this toolbar is pitching. Is he contending that generating a bad image is an "experience?"

The slop factories need to go.

Your lack of a cogent point is not helped by a shift to whataboutism.

Every time he lies, he gets extensive coverage, virtually none of which simply states "He is obviously lying." Anything other than continuing to lie would be illogical for him to do, because he has no morals and it works for him. Her gets the coverage he wants, every single time.

As the late great Norm Macdonald would say, "as reported in the journal 'Duh'."
