Here's three on one of my #codeberg repos.

The legit looking one is LLM generated nonsense. Looks vaguely right, but doesn't actually make sense.

Annoyingly, despite reporting the abuse, I can't see a way to delete the issue. I guess I have to manually close it?

Another spam wave hitting #codeberg

Bunch of AI generated issues which look superficially legitimate, interspersed with spamming random crap.

Resurrecting an ancient IP Camera.
I'm unable to view the contents of its SD card because it didn't anticipate being used beyond 2020 😆

One of the (many) reasons not to use SMS for your 2FA.

Looks like O2 UK is having problems delivering text messages to some people today.

Even WiFi texting is broken.

A little bit of scam-baiting for the afternoon. They hung up pretty quickly!

(I'm still learning how to synchronise subtitles properly.)

Can anyone in #singapore help me out?

I'd like a copy of this news story - https://eresources.nlb.gov.sg/newspapers/digitised/article/newpaper20041006-1.2.3.3

But it says "This may only be viewed from the multimedia stations at NLB Libraries."

Is it […]

Bloody hell! If you have a personal domain name for a catch-all email address, it'll cost you £170 to monitor it on Have I been Pwned.

Probably reasonable if you're a business, but a bit out of reach for domestic use.

(No need to snitch-tag.)

@Jeremiah Thanks for the info. I'll give it a go - but looks like they don't like UK for Interledger.

All my book reviews now contain links to various book shops - including big ones and independent ones.

You can also find audio book and ebook versions as well.

Where available, local library copies are also findable.

Enjoy! https://shkspr.mobi/blog/library/

The thing about online talks, is that you don't get any cool laptop stickers.

Glad this one has an in-person option 🙂

Excellent gig.

Having a look through the filesizes of the SVG logos at https://github.com/edent/SuperTinyIcons

And, yeah, that sounds about right for C++!

Solved! Fiddled around with the developer settings and I can now mirror my phone to a big screen.

Even better, I've been sent a wireless HDMI dongle to review. Plugged in a USB-C sender to my phone and it was autodetected.

Nifty! Full review out soon → https://shkspr.mobi/blog/
