The problem is that YouTube is a genuinely expensive business to run. There's a reason the main alternatives (Floatplane and Nebula, both run by YouTubers) are paid services. You need a lot of good equipment to make it work, and that's without even paying anyone.

I was one of the people who got the original parkour title, and I can say the reveal certainly took me out when it happened.

I'm so lost on how they got here. Did they just assume the title is you going "wow i'm sooooo gay it's going to be a challenge to play this without being as gay as i am"?

Especially with how vague "parkour" is, people expect it to be far less restrictive than the final ruleset actually was.

I did like the idea, in fact the only reason I dropped it is simple. I'd have to make 8 teams, with 3 characters each, and then maintain them throughout the campaign as "rivals". Heaven forbid I choose to add more players (meaning making more NPCs) before I start.

For context, that first story was more or less a Pokemon Masters type of deal, where my players would represent a region (Hoenn, in their case) and go through Galar's gym challenge (it was the easiest to re-use) to have the right to enter the tournament.
