Well yeah, some want to skip the process entirely and still be credited for it among other designers! But obviously that's a huge problem - it devalues real talent and erodes the artform.
As long as the 'line' is invisible in the end result (which it's increasingly becoming), we're not safe.

Before Gen AI, I would have been all about that. But there's 'working smarter' and there's skipping entire parts of the creative process, which AI seems to be aiming for. At some point you have you draw a line, otherwise what's the point in creating anything at all?

I'd have to learn more about it to make a decision on that - but considering I've been labelling all of my data by hand for the last five years, I'm obviously not thrilled at the prospect of someone using my data to train an automated system, for example.

You can look at cursors by filtering by Mouse controls ☺️ I'll see what I can do about adding a dedicated category!

By the way! Just incase you haven't noticed, the Game UI Database has been busier than ever lately. I'm now updating it every Sunday-Friday for the forseeable future, with Game UI references from both classic games and brand new releases!
