overall. I think the for profit model of insurance industry has manipulated the system for the profits of investors. United Healthcare does not disclose revenues individually for Medicare. For quarter 3 they posted 1.8 billion in overall operating income and 43.4 billion profit, up 24%.

System. In New Orleans there are two, Ochsner and LCMC/Tulane/LSU. There are a few stand alone practices but we are a dying breed. @UnitedHealthcare has decimated our health choices. I will likely need to find a new job within one of the “systems.” I think health systems have improved healthcare

Nurse Practitioner here who refers a fair amount to neurosurgery and Ortho surgery. I love learning from Mark Cuban and I agree with the guy that said advantage plans are a scam. We call them disadvantage plans. I don’t pick my patients specialist, I direct them to their health
