In relation to @shizumaru.bsky.social 's question, Civil War is somewhat relevant considering that, from one perspective, Iron Man was trying to hold superheroes accountable to the public, even if he was wrong in the methods of enforcement.

Wasn't just a parallel project… it was the Iron Man/Man O War crossover game. He wasn't just part of the cast like in MvC… he was the feature character.

I'd normally say this response is fair when a character becomes OP and unrelatable (honestly there's a bit of that lately with turning Storm from a persecuted mutant into a literal deity), but then again, I don't see the same response to Hulk when he's currently being raised to the level of TOAA.
