I'm amazed Fife made it so high up the ranking!

You mean except from when Nick Clegg himself publicly apologised for it while he was leader?

Doesn’t the energy price cap represent a ‘curb on profiteering’?

You may find this interesting, although the title is a bit spiky: open.substack.com/pub/julianhj...
It’s time to call out “Tesco derangement syndrome”!
The growing fad of blaming supermarkets for higher food prices suggests an alarming ignorance of the real world, let alone basic economics.

Like Turkey in the customs union? Sure, but then you’ve just erected a trade barrier with the rest of the UK.

Same old basic questions about the livings standards of people in Scotland, which many independence supporters seem willing to jeopardise for an ideological obsession.

Opportunism par excellence — there’s been no official announcement that it will be called this and the consultation hasn’t even been launched.

This is appalling and myopic. Just imagine looking at the death and suffering in Gaza and trying to make it about independence!

What would you cut or who would you tax more to make up the ~£2,500 per person spending gap the figures show?
2/ Calculate the growth rate in the devolved subset of total spending.

72,066 / 67,498 = 1.068

Here’s hoping, but looking at Europe Elects I might be more pessimistic and say that it’s maybe just a bump. Probably too early to tell either way though.

Do the Lib Dems come out okay then?
