(3/3) Not only that, but the evolution of whales is also very well documented in fossils. In fact they have one of the most well documented lineages which is pretty incredible! Overall, whales are super cool (my pfp is one!), 10/10 animals would love to see one irl

(2/3) While they definitely dont look like mammals, theyre in the group artiodactyla which includes other animals like cattle and deer. It makes more sense when you see their skeletons. Their pectoral fins have the same exact mammal bone structure as well as vestigial pelvic bones

Mammal monday!!!!! Todays mammal is the humpback whale! These incredible cetaceans are up to 49ft long and found in oceans around the world. They are filter feeders that primarily feed on zooplankton and small fishes

Its been so long but its fish Friday (Saturday actually) again! Todays fish is the arapaima! They are naturally only found in the amazon rainforest waters and can get up to 10 ft long. They are predators and feed on small fish by "gulping" them really fast! Overall 9/10 cool fish !

Like salmon, they migrate to the ocean and later return to freshwater to spawn. Unlike salmon tho, their appearance doesn't drastically change and they mostly stay the same when spawning. They are also very pretty with all their colors. Overall, cool fishy I rate a 10/10 (2/2)

Fish friday!! Todays fishy is the rainbow trout! These salmonids are native to cold waters in the pacific ocean and in north american and eastern russian streams but are found in almost every country due to how easy they are to farm. (1/2)

Almost forgot to post here but its fish day!! Today’s fish is the Coelacanth. Also the name of a glass beach song, these ancient nocturnal fish get up to 6 feet long and will eat anything they can get. They are also usually found in deep waters. (1/2)

(2/2) They spin! The reason why is just to catch food. They can also swim pretty fast, some recorded at 45 mph (72 km/h)! This allows them to catch up quick with their prey, but also jump out of the water and be really cute doing it. Overall, 12/10 fish very silly guys

Its fishy friday! Todays fish is the spinner shork. These silly guys are in the family Carcharhinidae. They are relatively small, only getting up to 8 ft(m 2.4) long and usually eat small fishies. (1/2)

(2/2) Sadly these guys are endangered in the wild due to habitat loss. However, they do very well in aquariums. This is good since it allows people to be close to zebra sharks but also allows for breeding programs to increase wild population. Overall, beautiful shork i rate 12/10

Fimsh Friday! Todays fish is the zebra shark! These beautiful guys are in the carpet shark family along with whale sharks and nurse sharks. They're found along the coasts of the Indian ocean and usually eat mollusks and crustaceans. (1/2)
