Christmas is economically strange. We stop working. Spending surges. Profit stops mattering. Time off is normalised. Family and care come first. And we accept all of this without question. The real tragedy is not Christmas excess. It is forgetting the lesson in January.

When I wandered into the allotments I had no idea what it was going to be like.
I've learned that if I sit and stare at the humans they will feed me.

Caroline, Mum’s idea of fortifying the embattled tree was brilliant but by the end Ron was making some progress at finding chinks in the armor! Gonna need another idea or LOTS more presents. Only 6 more days until Christmas. (😬 18 more days until Twelfth Night.😧) 🚫🎄🚫🐈

Friends! Last night, the Teenage One and her friend sang in a local church Charity Christmas Concert. We wish we could have taken you all with us - so Mum recorded the audio to play for you, along with Ron trying to get to the Christmas Tree now that Mum has blocked his entrance route! 😹
