Very lovely solid brass Airedale pin/coin tray. Art deco style with an Airedale terrier to guard your pins or pennies. Circa 1930's. Now living on my desk, guarding my 'fidget toy of the day'. Which is a piece of baked amethyst, oftens sold as, or mistaken for citrine.

Tinsel is empowering, apparently. We should all wear a little sparkle. This is my cat, she loves playing in tinsel every year when we decorate the Christmas tree.

1 year ago today my father checked out of the human condition rather unexpectedly. Here we both are on Christmas day 1978. (Grandad Burton on the shutter) I was just 10 days old. Grief is weird. I only miss his good parts.
